What has been your career path so far?

I’ve built my career around communications and marketing, largely within the charity sector. I’ve had roles that span digital content creation, brand and campaign management and external/internal communication strategy. My focus has been on crafting impactful narratives that support mission-driven organizations. I’ve also led strategic projects to improve audience engagement, from SEO to creative media campaigns.   

What do you enjoy about the charity sector? 

I enjoy how purpose-driven it is. Having worked in the sector, I appreciated working toward a shared goal that was mission focused. It’s rewarding to see the real difference your work can make in people’s lives, whether it’s raising awareness, amplifying voices, or driving action. I’m happy to now work for SV and support a large variety of charities to fulfil their missions.

Best part of the job? 

Seeing communications strategy manifest and resonate with an audience. Whether it’s a campaign starting important conversations, an event driving engagement and bringing people together, or a story inspiring action, it’s extremely rewarding to see how comms and marketing can make a difference.
