What has been your career path so far?

I have been in professional services for 10+ years from commercial audit, financial services audits and now in charities audit.

What do you enjoy about the charity sector?

I enjoy the mission-driven nature of the charity sector knowing that my work contributes to a greater good. Several users’ donors, staff, lenders and the general public relies on information charities accounts to make certain decisions, and it is important for the accounts to true and fair. Knowing that I am part of the process of ensuring the accounting information released to the public is true and fair is satisfying.

Best part of the job? 

The best part of my job would have to be working on a variety of clients involved in various good causes. Every week is different.
